Dr. Shanks currently teaches graduate courses in New Testament Studies at Liberty University’s Rawlings School of Divinity, and has also taught at other seminaries and colleges. He is an ordained minister and spent a decade engaged in collegiate ministry throughout the Midwest. He has written several articles and authored the book Papias and the New Testament. Dr. Shanks is the founder and director of ASKABIBLEPROF.com, as well asASKABIBLEPROF.FB, where he often posts blogs, as well as at “OLOGOS WEBLOG,”which can be found at WordPress.com. He regularly speaks at conferences. He is happily married to Amy, and they have 2 adult sons, both of whom are also married.
