The Adventure of a Lifetime: Joining God in His Mission

At TIME Missions, we operate under the ultimate authority of Jesus Christ, as described in Ephesians 4, 1 Corinthians 12–15, and Romans 12–14. We believe that all believers are part of the Body of Christ, empowered by the all-inclusive Spirit of God.

Jesus is the head of the Church. He guides and directs our efforts, and as members of His Body, each of us has been uniquely gifted and given a role to play in advancing His Kingdom.

The Giftedness of the Body
We acknowledge and celebrate the diverse spiritual gifts that the Holy Spirit has given to every believer. These gifts are not meant to sit idle. We encourage everyone involved in TIME Missions to use their gifts in service to God and others. When we come together in unity, we reflect the beautiful diversity of the Church and fulfill our mission more effectively.

Our Mission: To Know God and Advance His Kingdom
At the heart of TIME Missions is our focus on four key areas:

Know God

Internships

Missionaries

Advance Missions

Understanding and embracing God's authority structure allows us to work together with clarity and purpose as we fulfill the Great Commission. Our ultimate aim? To glorify God and make disciples of all nations.

It All Begins With Intimacy
We believe that knowing God is the center of everything we do. TIME Missions is designed to cultivate a community that inspires everyone to pursue intimacy and communion with God.

How do we do that?

We are intentional with the format and daily rhythm of our programs. We create space for moments of intimacy with God—moments that awaken, transform, and refresh.

We call these discerning moments. These are times when a servant of God seeks clarity, and in doing so, finds deeper intimacy with Jesus. When God's love interrupts your life in such a way, you can't help but pursue more of Him.

We teach biblical truth through a truthful relationship with Jesus. We provide relational moments—times when Jesus reveals unseen truths, heals broken places, and gently asks us to leave behind what no longer belongs.

As Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary…”—we come to Him like a child to a good Father, looking for rest, affirmation, and love.

Intimacy that Leads to Maturity
The Holy Spirit moves in us with His push-pull rhythm, renewing our minds and maturing us from the inside out. This is what it means to take on the mind of Christ: to exchange the world’s rational approach for the wisdom of Heaven.

As Saint Augustine once said, “To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek Him, the greatest adventure; to find Him, the greatest human achievement.”

Psalm 63:1–3 captures this well:

“O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary, beholding your power and glory. Because your steadfast love is better than life, my lips will praise you.”

That’s the moment we hope every person experiences on TIME’s short-term missions platform—a moment that changes everything.

Missions Starts With the Local Church

TIME Missions is deeply connected to local churches in the countries where we serve, including the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Haiti. We see the local church as our bumper—keeping us aligned, focused, and out of trouble. The church helps us stay on mission as we prepare the Bride for the return of Jesus.

This is our adventure. And it can be yours too.

Whether you use TIME’s short-term missions platform or serve another way, getting involved in missions isn’t optional—it’s foundational to how we follow Jesus.

Everyone Has Something to Offer. Jesus is the ultimate authority, and He has entrusted His Body with the mission. Through the Holy Spirit, we are empowered to operate in the gospel—each of us contributing uniquely to God’s work, from the simplest act of service to the most complex display of giftedness.

In our fast-paced, noisy world—especially here in America—stepping aside from the grind to seek God’s mission for your life is vital. You are a lampstand.
Your light, your gifts, and your calling matter. They were given to you by Jesus to be cultivated and used for His glory.

Now is the time. The world is confused, desperate for truth. What we need is not another platform—but servants who remind us of the pillars of faith.

Ask Him.
Take some time. Talk to God. Ask Him what He would have you do. He’s waiting.

I’ve been involved in missions since 1978. There were seasons when I wasn’t walking closely with the Lord. But Jesus saw the road ahead. He knew I’d be hungry and thirsty for Him, and He carved out a plan for me to join TIME Missions.

I’m not qualified to lead—except that Jesus gives me permission, through the renewing of my mind each day in Him. That’s what allows me to live out the greatest adventure of my life.
