In this hyper-critical world it's nice to remind ourselves that God has a better plan.

What kinda faith testing are you walking through. Do you need to trust leadership, trust your boss, have faith in a process you don't understand. God reminds us that He is the one to be trusted. That He is the power. He is able to be trusted with all things in our lives. That no one is above his authority.

Trust and Obey.

Here is a letter from my past. A Sunday School class I attended and a letter I received from the leadership of that class.  By the way, does Sunday School even exists anymore, I am sure it does.  Check out the article below.  Good leadership reflects Godly attitude.

Job’s Garage – News!                          02-27-13

Several years ago I heard someone openly complain about a pastor. I really can’t remember what the problem was or sure I understood it at the time. But I do remember their anger and one particular comment made- the pastor had not yet “earned their respect”. I didn’t agree.
I don’t believe God directs us to hold respect until a pastor earns it. Even for bad leaders like the Scribes and Pharisees, Jesus said: ”do all they tell you” (Mat 23:3). Not because they were morally sound and loved God -because they didn’t.But, because of the position of leadership they served in. We honor God when we respect our leaders.
You are a blessing to encourage those who labor over you in the Lord and give you instruction. It is an act of submission, and reflects Christ. We don’t honor our leaders based on their performance, we do it out of obedience to God.
And yes, when we love our pastors, it much easier to honor them. (Sounds like a heart issue as I think about it). Maybe that’s our problem. Stop grumbling- and start praying for your leaders! They carry a heavy load, and great responsibility. They will give an account for us to God.
And if you are blessed by their work, tell them so! They need encouragement too!

“Obey your leaders and submit to them; for they keep watch over your souls, as one who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.”
